Dr. Robert R. Beltran, M.D., Pharm D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Beltran received his doctorate of Medicine from the prestigious and consistently high-ranked University of California at San Francisco in 1979. He also earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from UCSF in 1977.

Dr. Beltran completed 2 years of general surgery training, followed by a 2 year residency in Otolaryngology-Facial Cosmetic Surgery at the University of Southern California – Los Angeles County Medical Center in 1984.

Dr. Beltran is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a prominent member of the American Society of Liposuction Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery, and a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.).

Dr. Beltran established his private practice in Orange County, California in 1984. He has carved a niche as one of the top “Nose Job” surgeons in Southern California, combining his expertise as a Facial Plastic Surgeon and Otolaryngologist. Dr. Beltran quickly became known for his natural-looking and functional rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) and septo-rhinoplasty (nose reshaping with correction of breathing problems) results.

Over the years, Dr. Beltran has been proud to offer his patients the most advanced technology to meet their needs, from the initial consultation to surgery to post operative care. Dr. Beltran began utilizing computer imaging in the mid 1990’s to illustrate to his patients the expected surgical result. Other innovative techniques include: endoscopic facelifts and forehead/brow lifts, utilizing minimal and hidden incisions and Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL). Dr. Beltran was among the first to offer Botox cosmetic, the Obagi Nu-Derm skincare line and fat transfer to rejuvenate the face. In addition, Dr. Beltran opened Bella Derma Medical Spa in 2005 to better treat the non-surgical concerns of his patients.

First and foremost, Dr. Beltran is a family man. He has been happily married to his high-school sweetheart, Yolanda since 1973. Together, they have built a thriving practice and fulfilling life in Orange County. Dr. Beltran and his wife are proud to have raised three daughters and one son, educated at Stanford University, USC and the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Dr. Beltran’s patients always remark about his personable demeanor as a surgeon. He believes in living a well-rounded life, which allows him to come to the office happy. In his spare time he enjoys daily exercise, golfing and nightly walks with his dogs. Dr. Beltran also enjoys spending time with friends and family as the host of frequent barbecues.

As a surgeon, Dr. Beltran’s greatest reward is meeting people referred by former patients. He has had the opportunity to serve patients from all over the world. His patients appreciate his complete communication and education throughout the surgical process. Dr. Beltran always offers his patients a comprehensive library of before and after photos to peruse, as well as the opportunity to meet with former patients.

At this point in his career, Dr. Beltran has had the privilege of helping returning patients with their variety of surgical needs over the years. Women who were rhinoplasty patients in the early years, have returned for their “Mommy makeovers” to do procedures such as breast augmentation and/or breast lifts, tummy tucks and liposuction. Recently some of the same patients have returned to treat their first signs of facial aging.

The greatest honor for Dr. Beltran is serving as a mentor to his many patients who are now serving as physicians, surgeons, nurses, physician assistant, surgical technicians, anesthesiologists and others in the medical field. Dr. Beltran has served as an inspiration to many in the medical field because he truly loves helping patients to achieve their aesthetic goals to live more fulfilled lives.
