Sclerotherapy / Laser Vein Treatments

he treatment of Sclerotherapy has been used for more than 50 years. The introduction of Sclerosing agents (such as highly concentrated salt water) is mild enough to be used in small veins, making sclerotherapy predictable and relatively painless. In this rather simple procedure, veins are injected with a tiny amount of sclerosing solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view over time. This procedure may also remedy the bothersome symptoms associated with spider veins, including aching, burning, swelling and night cramps.

Our Laser Vein Treatments provide superior patient comfort for treating both spider and reticular veins, and can be used alone or in combination with Sclerotherapy to maximize treatment results. Dysport

FDA has approved Dysport to treat forehead wrinkles and frown lines, making it only the second drug to be approved by the agency as a wrinkle treatment.

Dysport is made from the same active ingredient as Botox (made by Allergan), Clostridium botulinim toxin type A. Botulinum toxins temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles by restricting the muscle actions that cause creasing and frown lines.

Like Botox, Dysport is administered via an injection at the site of forehead wrinkles. According to Ipsen Biopharm Ltd., which makes Dysport, the FDA based its approval on clinical trials involving about 2,900 people at 80 study site.
