Are eyes the expression of your soul?

We rely on the visual expressions of others to tell us how they are feeling. Through the process of aging or heredity, our eyes do not assist us in letting others know how we truly feel. We may look tired although we feel well rested and energized. The process of enhancing the natural beauty of the eye is called Blepharoplasty. Eyelid surgery reduces the amount of excessive skin and removes some of the surrounding fat tissue. This gives the upper eyelid a deeper, more youthful appearance. The overall results are eyes that look more youthful and less tired. While eyelid surgery does not remove all the wrinkles around the eyelid, it does improve their appearance dramatically. During the consultation, Dr. Beltran will evaluate your physical characteristics and explain how Blepharoplasty can help you achieve the results you desire. The procedure is completed on an outpatient basis. Small incisions that follow natural lines and creases are made to camouflage and minimize the incisional scars.

Afterwards, bed rest is recommended. For three to five days, your eye area may be swollen and slightly bruised. The final results are dramatic and obvious in several weeks. No aftercare procedures are required. By enhancing the eye area, you'll enjoy a brighter, more rested and youthful appearance. Eyelid surgery is often performed in conjunction with other rejuvenative procedures to achieve the optimal appearance desired. With every procedure, Dr. Beltran listens carefully to the overall outcome the patient wants to achieve by creating the most aesthetically pleasing, long lasting, and most natural looking result for each individual. Imagine your eyes in their most restful and youthful way. It will be a source of pleasure for those around you as well as to you every time you look in the mirror.
